Grave of Newton Tharp and Siblings

These unmarked fieldstones line up next to the grave of Elizabeth (Overly) Tharp. They are thought to mark the graves of her son Newton Tharp, who died February 2, 1864 at the age of 24, and three of her children who died in childhood.
The names of the three younger children are unknown but include one son and two daughters. The son was under the age of five in the 1830 census and died before the 1840 census. The two daughters were under the age of five in the 1840 census and died before the 1850 census.
