10 Acre Land Grant on the Waters of Wilson Creek
James McDowell Esquire, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia:To all to whom the Presents shall come - Greetings: KNOW YE, that in conformity with a survey made on the twenty fifth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and thirty nine, by virtue of Land Office Treasury Warrant IV.14.116 there is granted by the said Commonweath, unto Drury Senter assignee of Ephraim Gentry a certain Tract of Parcel of Land, Ten acres lying and being in Grayson County, on the waters of Wilson Creek and bounded as follows. Viz: Beginning at a Buckeye by a branch corner to a 400 acre Survey of said Gentry S42.W.13 poles to a White Oak sapling N.65.W.32 poles to a Stooping White Oak & Dogwood on a hill side N.84.W.50 poles to a large White Oak on a ridge by a path N.61.W.32 poles to two White Oaks on a ridge N.79.W.30 poles to a Buckeye by a Small branch N.66.W.14 poles down said branch to a White Oak comes to Fielding Young's patent land in a line of said Gentry's 400 acres Survey and with a line of the same West 42 poles to a large White Oak on a ridge S.72.E.126 poles to the beginning with its appurtenances
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said Tract of Parcel of Land, with its appurtenances, to the said Drury Senter and his heirs forever.
In Witness Whereof, the said James McDowell Esquire, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, hath hereunto in his hand, and the Lesser Seal of the said Commonwealth to be affixed, at Richmond, on the thirty first day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five and of the Commonwealth the seventieth

James McDowell Esquire, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia:To all to whom the Presents shall come - Greetings: KNOW YE, that in conformity with a survey made on the second day of June, one thousand eight hundred and forty, by virtue of Land Office Treasury Warrant there is granted by the said Commonweath, unto Drury Senter assignee of Nathaniel Vannoy a certain Tract of Parcel of Land, twelve acres lying and being in Grayson County on the waters of Wilson Creek and bounded as follows, Viz: Beginning at 2 white Oaks at a point where Joseph Young's and Ephram Gentry's line intersect on the point of a ridge running with Young's line S.50.E.20 poles to a white Oak on a ridge Thence N.45.E.20 poles to a white Oak where said Young's and Vannoy's lines intersect. Thence running with Vannoy's line S.15.E.142 poles to a Buckeye in said Gentry's line and with the same N.27.W.154 poles to the beginning with its appurtenances
