This article of agreement made and entered into this 30th day of November 1886 by and between Robert L. Hicks of county of Alturas Idaho Territory of the first part and H.F. McCarter of Grayson County Virginia of the second part. Witnesses. That the said Robert L. Hicks for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars (600.00) to be paid to him on or before the final day of May 1887 hath bargained and sold unto the said H.F. McCarter all of his entire improvements upon his timber cultures lying on Corral Creek and also a five hundred inch water right taken out of Corral Creek and the said Robert L. Hicks doth by these presents bind himself in the sum of twelve hundred dollars to relinquish his claim right and title to all improvements on said timber culture and convey the same to the said H.F. McCarter also his water rights as soon as the said H.F. McCarter hath paid to said Hicks the sum of six hundred $600.00 dollars it being the amount of purchase money.
