Mrs. Tharp, aged mother of Mrs. W.L. Sales of Big Valley, who has been visiting with her daughter expecting to spend the winter, was seriously injured at the home of her daughter when she slipped and fell to the floor. Her head struck heavily and she was rendered unconscious and according to Dr. Charles Craig who attended her, is suffering from concussion of the brain. Up until Monday the aged lady had not regained consciousness.

Mrs. Tharp celebrated her 90th birthday at the Sales home recently. She seemed exceedingly bright for her age. Many friends in the valley are hoping she will recover.
